Sony Xperia SP users have a reason to rejoice today as the device has been updated to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean in the form of build number 12.1.A.0.266. The OTA has just started rolling out minutes back and has hit only Australia. OTA updates are generally rolled out slowly worldwide so you should expect it coming to your country anytime soon.
In case you are on a custom ROM or have an unlocked bootloader, no OTA update will be available on your device and you may have to flash the firmware manually using this tutorial.
Since the OTA update went live minutes back, we do not have any download link for the same. In case you have the download link, please post it in the comments and we’ll update the post with it.
Users who have a locked bootloader or are on a stock firmware, please go to Settings>About phone and check for software updates to see if you get the aforementioned build number available for download. If yes, you are good to go and can flash Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on your Xperia SP.
In case we miss it out, you can expect the download link of the firmware at this thread on XDA forums.
