Everyone knows that the Samsung Galaxy Note and subsequently, the Samsung Galaxy Note II turned out to be big time game changers for the genre to which they belong while the Galaxy Grand Duos carried forward the legacy in the lower segment. But as it goes, there are some big incoming threats approaching the scene viz. the Micromax Canvas HD and Sony’s rumored Mediatek based quad core device which can cause some damage if not severe to the market leader’s position. What should be Sammy’s expected way out then?
Not so surprisingly enough, it is yet another range of big screened devices from Samsung that’ll rock the scenario this summer. As rumors have to say, Samsung will be launching two phones under the names as GT-I9200 and GT-I9152, both under the poorly tagged ‘Mega’ moniker. Further, the GT-I9200 i.e. the Galaxy Mega 6.3 will be hosting a 6.3” display unit that can be a bit misleading towards the fact that the phone in question seems getting a bit close to the expected dimensions of the next phablet of the Note series while the GT-I9152 or the Galaxy Mega 5.8 will have 5.8 inches of display estate upfront and along with it’s dual SIM capabilities(as the naming goes), it stands as the direct successor to the much popular and still fresh Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos.
The Samsung Mega 6.3 is expected to go official by week25, 2013 while the Mega 5.8 can see a week 22 official announcement. Finally, as they say, the better things never get out of fashion that quickly. This just seems to be the thing that might be running in Sammy’s mind at this very point of time when it’s biggies are taking down almost every other opponent in the market and with every card paying off big time, why would someone think of changing the things around!
