If you were to buy the best Android smartphone of the year, the best possible choice as of now that you have is one among the three flagships of Sony, HTC and Samsung – the Sony Xperia Z, HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4 respectively. While I’m not a great Samsung fan because I think plastic is not fantastic. I love HTC One’s build and Xperia’s UI + hardware.
The HTC One is perhaps one of the best smartphones from HTC till date and so are Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 from Sony and Samsung respectively. The Sony Xperia Z and Samsung Galaxy S4 have a 13 MP primary camera, the HTC One has only 4 MP but still manages to compete with the other two giants – thanks to the ultrapixel technology used in the HTC One’s camera. It’s pretty difficult to decide which device gives the best camera output, so eprice has shot images from these three devices and put them together for you to decide which one performs better in terms of image quality and compression.
The Galaxy S4 gives images of around 5 MB each while the Xperia Z gives images of size around 2.8 MB. The HTC One being of lower megapixel count, outputs images of size around 1.2 MB. Don’t conclude that the Galaxy S4 images are better than those shot by the other two because we are not aware of the settings used in the shooting these images nor do we have any idea about the compression algorithms used by these devices.[Click on the images below to view them in full screen mode]
