Being an outpacing performer amongst the monsters of the Dual core era, the HTC Sensation is one heck of a showstopper as far as the competition amongst the dual cores is considered. Being a character of that much of popularity, the HTC Sensation has been performing equivalently well in the development section at the forums. How to Install CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on your HTC Sensation?
You should start by downloading the firmware.zip file from here and till then, Connect your Phone to the Computer via USB Cable so that you can copy the downloaded flashable zip file to the root of your sdcard which is the /sdcard/ folder. Now, disconnect your phone from the computer and then turn it off, re-insert the batteries and boot it into the Recovery mode. Before you proceed, please check whether you have made a nandroid backup in the recovery mode so that you can revert back to your previous ROM if you wish to. Now wipe all previous data/Do a factory reset including dalvik cache in order to avoid “Low memory” issues and then select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to the root folder of your sd card and flash the zip file you downloaded above. Now flash the Gapps file in a similar fashion. If you’re done with that, go back and select “Reboot system now”.
If you have gone through all that safely enough and your phone booted up successfully, you can now taste Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean on your HTC Sensation. If you faced any problems through the process, you can start afresh by wiping all the data and proceeding via first line of the tutorial.
