Though it has not been much time since Android 4.4 was recently rolled out to Nexus devices followed by subsequent CyanogenMod 11 builds, a new variant of Android 4.4 is already on its way to Nexus devices via an OTA. The new Android 4.4.1 build has been rolling out to Nexus 5 initially followed by OTA updates for other Nexus devices too. In case you don’t see the OTA update notification on your device right now, you may either wait or download the OTA update and flash it to your device right away.
Android 4.4.1 update includes camera improvements for the Nexus devices. It took 5 weeks for Google to update the source code of Android KitKat and that brings a massive improvement to Nexus 5 camera. Here is a sample image taken with the Nexus 5 before and after the update, thanks to The Verge.
