After the huge success of Moto G, which has been Motorola’s highest selling device till date, Motorola is all set to launch the Moto X in India. While Motorola doesn’t really have a sales team here in India, they rely upon Indian e-retail giant Flipkart to sell their products the e-retail had done pretty well with the Moto G sales.
Flipkart will also sell Moto X exclusively. The device will not be available in retail stores and can be bought only from Flipkart.com. The launch will be similar to what we did see during Moto G launch. This hints at a similar dedicated page on Flipkart’s website with some goodies or offers that you might get along with the initial launch of the device.
Apart from this, Flipkart just revealed that Moto X will be available in five colors (Black, white, royal blue, cherry, turquoise). And since there is no Moto Maker for Indian consumers unlike US, Flipkart will also sell two wood back variants of the device – walnut and teak as it can be seen in the image below:

Moto X was originally introduced in U.S last year and comes with 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, 10MP rear camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat. While it was released with Android 4.3 in U.S, Indian users will get a pre-installed Android 4.4 version running with an overlay of Motorola’s customization which doesn’t actually include many UI tweaks.
