Android 4.2.2 has been released to work upon the performance and stability issues over the previous versions meanwhile checking on many boxes that had been left blank.
Cyanogenmod ROMs are well known for their added stability and performance quotient over the stock Android firmware without leaving the real feel of Vanilla Android UI. Cyanogenmod 10.1 or CM10.1 is based on the latest set of firmware that’s currently seeding out from the Google confectionery, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. CM10.1 is basically a tweaked up version of stock Android 4.2.2 with complete project butter implementation on top of zero to no non-sense bloatware that ships with casual OEM firmwares.

You should download the flashable file from here and meanwhile, you can connect your Phone to the Computer via USB Cable so as to copy the downloaded flashable zip file to your internal sdcard which is the /sdcard/ folder. Now, disconnect your device from the system and then turn it off and boot it into the Recovery mode. Before you proceed, please check whether you have made a nandroid backup in the recovery mode so that you can revert back to your previous ROM if you wish to. Now wipe all previous data/Do a factory reset including dalvik cache in order to avoid “Low memory” issues and then select the option to apply an update zip, and select the zip file you copied to the root folder of your sd card and flash the zip file you downloaded above. Now flash the Gapps file in a similar fashion. Done with that, go back and select “Reboot system now”.
NOTE: Please make a note of the fact that as this ROM is still under development, you can face a few bugs here or there.
