The TouchWiz interface might be something that you like as far as the UI is concerned and it also does look better than Google’s stock Android OS. However, it does decrease the performance of your Samsung device. Not only TouchWiz, this is applicable for any OWM-skinned Android OS. That said, there must be people who miss the OEM-skinned widgets and launchers while they are running an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) – derived ROM.
If you own a Samsung device, it is quite easy to get TouchWiz widgets and launcher on your AOSP ROM but for other devices it has been a tough luck before XDA Senior Member emwno ported the Galaxy S4 Accuweather widget and launcher to all Jelly Bean running devices.
Though the port has been tested working on Touchwiz, CM 10, CM 10.1, AOSP, Sony and Lg ROMs, it should be working on any other OEM-skinned Android OS. Currently it supports all XXHDPI, XHDPI, HDPI, and MDPI devices running Jelly Bean excluding TouchWiz running MDPI device where it might not work. However the same device can get the widget and launcher working on an AOSP derived custom ROM.
You can download the necessary zip file from the original thread (link at the end of the post) and extract the APK files to install on your device. Apart from this, the original thread also contains some more apps from the Galaxy S4 dump which include the following:
