Most of Google services are on point when it comes to sharing. Keep, Drive, Photos, etc. allow you to easily share content. On the other hand, Maps didn’t offer any such feature. You were at a slump every time you wanted to share a list of places you’ve been to. Today, Google Maps list sharing will start rolling out. It might be a a whole new update or a tweak on their side. You can create a list that can be shared with your friends and family, by following a few simple steps;
Creating a list
In the app, open the side menu, go to Your Places, click on the blue circle with the plus sign at the bottom right corner of the screen. Open the place you want to add to a new list, tap on “Save”, and then select “create a new list”.
Sharing and Editing a list
To share a list, simply open it and click on the share button in the top right corner. You can share the link through any app on your phone such as Whatsapp, Messenger, Twitter, etc.
To edit a list, Go to Your places and then tap the Saved Tab. Tap on the three dot menu to the right of the list and then click, “edit list”. You can also add and remove places from lists directly from a location’s place sheet by tapping the “Saved” icon.
Google Maps has become super reliable and handy. Be it traffic info, local guides, offline mode or simply giving out proper directions.
