After our detailed coverage on Google’s first tablet PC, the Google Nexus 7 along with the plethora of posts that we followed on the amazing 7-incher, merrily, yet with a grain of salt, we are here to present you with the first pictures of the new kid on the block which seems to be the big daddy of them all. Yes indeed, we are talking about the Google Nexus 10 which is all set to break out of the curtains this October 29th in the Google event in New York City.
After a series of flashy appearances and multiple sessions of bragging rights in the rumor-land, the Google Nexus 10 is live for the first time via these series of photgraphs which are enough to have more than a peek at the detailings of the device.
Along with all those flashy pics of the device’s exteriors, we have some more icing on the cake for you i.e. the detailed specifications of the device. Following all the rumors which have been turned into reality by Samsung, this joint venture with it’s old companion seems way too promising for today’s standards. The alleged “Retina-beating” display has got a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. At 299ppi for a 10-incher, this dude has got more than enough pixels for he visuals to blow you out of your senses. Further, the 10-inch slate runs Samsung’s home-made Exynos 5250 chipset whose two cortex-A15 cores blaze past the competition at 1.7Ghz of unmatched processing technology on a mobile device, while the latest Mali-T604 GPU is powerful enough to crunch on that pixel count. Couple that with 2 Gigabytes of RAM, you won’t miss out on any task, despite of the number of them running in the background.
The rest of the specs include a 5 megapixel shooter on the back with HD capabilities( that’s so damn obvious!) accompanied by a single-LED flash. On the connectivity side, the beast runs no short of a full-fledged suite of connectivity options viz. NFC(Near Field Connectivity), Bluetooth 4.0 and offcourse Wifi.
Clarying the mist off from all the rumors and alleged speculations, the Google Nexus 10 seems finally here and it’s Samsung doing the favours this time for the search Giant. The Device is all set for an October 29th wih Android 4.2 out of the box. Android 4.2? It’s still Jelly Bean anyways (You can take the reference of Android 3.0,3.1,3.2 etc all being called Honeycomb only), it may bring in some goodies along with a few system tweaks over the original Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, if that is the case with this release, it’s always a warm welcome from all of us.
But with all that amount of bragging that Google did at the launch event of Nexus 7 about 7-inches being the perfect mobility condition for a Slate and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean being relatively fresh in the market, is this step wise enough?
Concluding this exciting preview of the Google Nexus 10, I just wanna say that, please stay tuned with us for more on this device, you know, We won’t let it get away without us getting to it’s “ROOTS” 😉
