HTC’s first phablet has landed in India and has been priced quite high for INR 56,490. It has not been made available in leading stores across India but will be available in the coming days. The Maximum Retail Price (MRP) for the device is INR 61,490.
The HTC One Max was announced last month on October 14 and it packs features like the fingerprint scanner along with the Boomsound technology used in the One series of devices. It has a 5.9-inch display and a fingerprint sensor on the back which you can use to unlock the device or launch some app with the touch of your finger. Though the device is huge and carries the HTC One style, I personally don’t think it is worth INR 56,490. If you are really looking forward to buy a phablet, you can go ahead and buy the Galaxy Note 3, Xperia Z Ultra or probably a Micromax device which are the most loved devices in India as of now – though you’ll have to compromise with the fact that it doesn’t get much developer love. But for people who don’t hack around with their device much, Micromax and Xolo phones are the best choices.
