The Sony Xperia Z1, a successor of the Xperia Z now has a child that is seen in the picture below. The Xperia Z1 mini aka Xperia Honami mini has been pictured alongside the Xperia Z1 and a few specifications have been leaked.
While we had expected the Xperia Z1 mini to launch at IFA 2013 where most manufacturers have displayed their best devices, that wasn’t the case. We might have to wait until CES 2014 while we get to see the official pictures of the Xperia Z1 mini but before that, we have a leaked picture of the device. As you can see above, the Xperia Z1 mini in purple is seen along with two Xperia Z1 devices in black and purple. From the picture, it is very clear that the mini version of Xperia Z1 has the same design as that of its parent device.
A few specifications that have been leaked are in coincidence with the previously leaked specs:
- 4.3″ 720p screen.
- 2 GB RAM
- 8 GB internal memory.
- Snapdragon 800 Quad core processor.
- F 2.0 Sony’s “G” Lens in camera in same 20.7 MP cam
- Android 4.3 OS.
Of course the above details are only the speculations about the device but since they coincide with the previous leaks, they look promising to me. The device will be waterproof and with Snapdragon 800 SoC onboard you can expect the device to be the king of performance.
If you don’t like to handle the beast, you would surely love to possess this compact powerhouse.
