As we move on to the other half of the year, we can see that the new devices are being revealed one by one – most of which will be revealed officially at IFA 2012 event in Berlin later this month. One device from LG that would be revealed at IFA is the LG Optimus G. LG had confirmed its existence earlier and also teased it in a video available below.
The LG Optimus G would be a high end device with a 4.7 inch HD Display, 2GB RAM and 13 Mega-pixel rear camera. It is LG’s first smartphone to be shipped with quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and Adreno 320 GPU. Something that might disappoint you is that the device does not come with Android’s latest version Jelly Bean. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. However, we will post tutorials for you to install Jelly Bean on LG Optimus G for which you might have to risk your device’s warranty.
