The LG Optimus G2 has been getting much hype these days with some leaks that surfaced few days back. They weren’t quite real, however this one seems legit to us. The photos show the LG Optimus G2 running for the Korean LG U+ carrier and carries the model number LG-F320L. The most interesting part of this phone is that it comes with volume controls on the back, cool eh?
Ignoring the volume control placement on the back, let me talk about the specs. The LG G2 features a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display and is powered with Snapdragon 800 chip with processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It packs a 2540mAh battery and 2 Gigs of RAM.
- Snapdragon 800 chip with processor clocked at 2.3GHz
- 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD IPS display
- 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS)
- Dual speakers
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- Smart DMB supported (Digital multimedia broadcasting for South Korea)
- LTE-Advanced supported
- Built-in wireless charging
Sure, that makes the LG Optimus G2 a high-end smartphone but the weird placement of Volume controls on the back don’t impress me in any way. LG might be testing their new hardware design with the LG Optimus G2, but I personally feel, it would not be a good one. Controlling the volume from the back side of the device is extremely inconvenient while on call or even while playing music and watching videos. What do you think folks?
