To get started with the software, all you need to do is connect your phone to the PC via USB and make sure USB Debugging is turned ON. For Android 2.3, you can do it from Settings>Apps>Development and for Android 4.0+, you can find this option from Settings>Developer options. If you wish to connect over a Wi-Fi connection, make sure both your PC and Android device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network and scan the QR code you see on the screen to connect the device to MobileGo.

Manage Contacts & SMS
Managing contacts had been a tough task for me considering that my phone download more than 2,000 contacts from my Google account, most of which were duplicate. Though I tried many apps from the Play Store, nothing seemed to work well. MobileGo manages contacts in the best way possible. It can identify duplicate contacts and allows you to merge all duplicate contacts in one click. It also shows you a preview of how the contact would look after it is merged. You can also export the contacts to your PC, export it to Outlook or import contacts from Outlook. The same is applicable to Windows Live mail.
You can also view SMS threads on your PC and chat with your friends easily by sending SMS via MobileGo. The SMS is pushed out through your phone once you click the Send button in MobileGo.
Manage Multimedia Content
Apart from SMS, contacts and apps. managing Multimedia content like photos, videos and music is also quite easy using MobileGo. You can browse through these data types from the list in the left. You can also upload, download or view the content present in your Android device on your computer. While browsing music, you can also set a particular file as a ringtone of your device.
You can also use MobileGo as a root browser for your device.
