Micromax, India’s leading handset manufacturer which has supposedly sold more Android phones than Samsung last year is all set for a new launch. After the huge success of Microamx Canvas 2 A110, the company had announced that it will launch the Canvas HD soon. The Micromax Canvas HD will be more powerful than its predecessor sporting a Quad Core processor clocked at a frequency of 1.2 GHz.
An email from Micromax arrived at our inbox few minutes back informing us about the features of the device and it’s release date that is tomorrow.

Looks promising to me except the fact that it will be available only in India and there are very less chances that Mircromax will open up stores worldwide at the moment.
My verdict: Go for it if you don’t mind staying with the same stock interface and expect no development. There are hardly any custom ROMs for Micromax devices when compared to Sony,Samsung, HTC and LG smartphones. The most important factor behind high sales of Micromax devices is low cost!
