Moto G Receives a Bug-Fixing Update in US & UK

Motorola is currently rolling out a software update over the air (OTA) which fixes some minor bugs in the device’s Android 4.4.2 system. The update is currently available only in U.S and U.K. To get this update, you need to go to Settings>About Phone and check for system updates. If you see a screen similar to what you see in the screenshot below, you know what we are talking about:

The changelog is as follows:

  • Fixed an issue which caused temporary cellular network loss for a small number of customers
  • Fixed wallpaper cropping issue
  • Resolved USB OTG support for USB drives
  • Fixed low call volume as experienced by some users

The update is 174.44.1.en.US for US unlocked devices and 174.44.9.falcon_umts.Retail.en.GB for the UK devices (unlocked only).
