The Moto G4 and G4 plus were probably the most sought after phones of the year. Lenovo did a pretty good job keeping the G5 and G5 plus under wraps, that is, until now. A retailer leaked essentially everything you need to know about the devices. Although, these smartphones are expected to be launched at MWC 2017 later this month (Barcelona on February 26th). The previously leaked info on these devices appears to be inaccurate. Let us take a look at what these budget devices may offer;
Both the Moto G5 and G5 Plus will release at the same time and this time, it looks like they’ll feature aluminium bodies, in Lunar Grey and Fine Gold.
According to the leaked info, the phones will have Full HD (1080p) displays with Gorilla Glass 3, 2 GB RAM, expandable storage up to 128 GB, fast charging, a fingerprint sensor and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
The G5 Plus will be slightly larger than the G5 with a 5.2-inch display instead of 5, a Snapdragon 625 over 430 and 64GB internal storage. It’ll also have a 12MP camera with “Dual Autofocus Pixels” rather than 13MP camera, and a 3000mAh battery (non-removable) over 2800mAh (removable). These phones will also have NFC.
