The CES 2013 is finally over and despite of all the recent launches and Silicon manufacturers blasting off the pace, So let’s get back to the reality. Talking about reality and the current market, there’s still no phone capable enough to take it to the nerves of the black-bodied predator from Korea, the LG Optimus G. Being the most powerful phone in terms of processing power and technology, this monster has got a long way to go as well as the power to get itself through!
Although not the best on the software parts, but LG sure don’t wanna get the foot out of the step as they are here with the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for their superpower flagship, the LG Optimus G! Although the update is region restricted for the time being( It’s a Korea Only!), but it’s sure enough that this update has got all the beans in the bag to spill the competition out of the toughest competitors like the lives of Samsung Galxaxy S3 or the mighty HTC One X+.
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean has been developed under “Project Butter” under which the User Interface is made to run at a blistering 60fps of frame rate which is promising enough to take the touch mobile interface to the next level. Android Jelly Bean is more over a minor update over the much successful Android 4.0 ICS(Ice Cream Sandwich) while it mainly concentrates at what it is meant to be. It’s fast, smooth and butter. While the Jelly Bean update improvises upon the General User satisfaction, it could probably give a performance boost to the device for the inclusion of the latest set of APIs and stuff.
The story is as sweet as it goes but on the bitter note, it’s still restricted to the Device’s home turf, Korea only. Meanwhile, I don’t think it’ll take more of time for the development team @LGE to get through all the regions in succession as everyone knows, the fleet stands by the Flagship!
