While we approach close to the official Android 4.3 rollout for Sony Xperia T and Xperia SP, DoomLord on XDA-Developer forums has posted the firmware online. This is a leaked firmware that has been released before the official rollout and can be flashed easily,. However, your device should be bootloader-unlocked with CWM installed already. Locked bootloader devices generally get the update via Sony PC companion or update it via FlashTool manually.
The firmware version for this leaked ROM is 9.2.A.0.278 for the Xperia T (LT30p) and 2.1.A.0.256 for the Xperia SP (C5302/C5303). Please do not apply this update to any other variant of Xperia T or SP and get the device bricked.
- Unlocked bootloader
- CWM pre-installed
- Your device should be running the official Jelly Bean 4.1 firmware already.
The leaked ROMs are pre-rooted with BusyBox installed. To install this ROM, refer the following threads on XDA forums:
We’ll post updates about when the official rollout is available. Stay tuned.
