The OnePlus 3 has been a popular device with top-notch specs and great build quality. Although it has still has not received Nougat and is still being worked on, OnePlus has pushed out an update for the Marshmallow build for the Oxygen OS.
This also puts the controversies that the OP3 won’t receive updates once the OP3T has been released. It looks like OnePlus has no problem delivering, with the community beta of Android Nougat 7.0 planned next month, along with the stable release shortly thereafter.
The Oxygen Os 3.2.8 update changelog includes:
- Added 1080p 60fps video recording
- Added emergency calling for India (Triple press of power button to trigger)
- Optimization of Snapchat, fixed video calling and scrolling lags
- Increased system stability
- General bug fixes
The addition of the 1080p 60fps recording is a much-needed addition, along with the Emergency calling feature. However, video recording optimization still seems to be spotty according to some users.
This Oxygen OS OTA update should be rolling out to all users in the coming days.
