Pocket now has also published the specifications of the Galaxy Note 2, according to which e device will sport a 1.6GHz quad-core processor (likely an Exynos), 2GB RAM, 16-32-64GB internal storage, an expandable microSD slot, 5.5″ HD Super AMOLED display (1280×720), 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front camera, 3100mAh battery, and will run Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) out of the box.  The Galaxy Note 2 is thinner than its predecessor featuring a slim 9.4 mm body, the Note being 9.65 mm.

The Galaxy Note 2 will hit the European lands in October with HSPA+ and LTE radios inside. It will be available in two colors – Marble White and Titanium Grey.

The S-Pen which we had been talking about is longer and thicker with improved design. There is a new feature called “Air view” and a few others, about which Pocketnow reports:

There is a new feature called Air View that “allows users to hover with the S-Pen over an email, image gallery, or video to preview the content without having to open it.” And, just like Popup Play which lets you watch a video while doing another task, Popup Note lets you keep a note on the screen while using another application. There’s also a new feature called Quick Command that is accessed with an upward swipe with the S-Pen; doing so will reveal a menu of quick commands to send someone an email, make a call, or do a search. Finally, the Note II has a Screen Recorder function that lets a user record a demonstration of how to use an application, for instance.
