Samsung Galaxy Note 3 To Run On Snapdragon 800: Big Just Got Bigger!

With 10 million of Samsung Galaxy S4 units being already brushed off from the shelves, it is high time indeed for Sammy to go with it’s next die in the game. As per the tradition, with every Galaxy S device, a Note follows. It began with the Galaxy Note which just changed the world of big size mobile phones and then we had the Galaxy Note 2 that cashed in well enough over it’s predecessor. The only factor because of which these giant phablets took a hike in sales was not the bigger screens but the much zippier chipsets and productivity over their ‘S’ counterparts. With that being said, is there really anything more powerful than the S600 or the Exynos Octa?

The answer is the Snapdragon 800. Being the most top notch chipset from the leader in manufacturing mobile silicon, Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 800 is as beastly as a mobile SoC could be. The Snapdragon 800 packs four Krait 400 cores that can be clocked upto 2.3 GHz of the CPU clock while the job of rendering the pixels is done by the Adreno 330 GPU. As the name suggests, the Adreno 330 GPU is the most capable mobile graphics processor from the firm as it also supports 4K video playback and recording. With that much of power, it rather sounds an easier way for Sammy to gift it’s gifted one with the Snapdragon 800 because apart from being a processing power house, the SoC also packs in a new generation LTE chip that promises lightning fast data transfer rates.

All said and done, all we have to do is to wait for Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 3 which could be any time nearby from now(IFA Berlin2013?).
