The Samsung Galaxy Note II hosts a massive 5.5″ HD Super Amoled Display upfront with the internals being Samsung’s very own, the trustworthy Exynos SoC but this time it’s the speediest in the terms of clock. It’s a 1.6Ghz Quad-core processor coupled with two Gigabytes of RAM which means you can throw as many applications as you want on it and it’ll be ready to take good care of all your multitasking needs. Plus the extra clock speed means you have a beast in your hands that is ready to roar out the best out there as it’ll be coming with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box which means you are going to get a taste of some butter over the icing on the confectionery.

On the Multimedia side, you get a gorgeous looking display, an 8 megapixel shooter on the back while it is a 1.9 megapixel unit for your video conferencing needs, Not to mention, it is High Definition all around. Furthermore, it’ll be having it’s power source upgraded with some more juice that counts at 3100mAh and it’ll be available in three variants viz. the 16Gb, 32Gb and a 64Gb models with all of them having the option for expandibility courtesy the microSD card slot.

One of the most innovative addons to the interface is Samsung’s Air View. It allows users to hover with S Pen over an email, S Planner, image gallery, or video to preview the content without having to open it. You can do it without touching the screen as the Front camera is used to record the moment of S Pen(which also has been re-modeled ).

The original Samsung Galaxy Note was the king of all trades. It surely changed the perspective of the lot towards mobile telephony and proved to be one of the most sought after handsets of all time. When it was launched, everyone had the same question, whether it was a phone or a tablet? But not so surprisingly enough, it put shutters to all words thrown at it by delivering an out of this world usability experience for the potential user and now it is time for it’s successor to repeat the same, yet again. The most powerful Exynos and lots of RAM surely put it in line with the best of droids out there. The platform is set, the curtains have been taken off. Now its up to this powerhouse phablet to keep hold to the word of mouth it’s predecessor generated.

What is your opinion? whether it’ll take on to become the most powerful phablet out there or is it too much for the ask? We’ll like to hear from you as we’ll surely be covering all the updates on this device in future, including rooting or hacking it.
