Sony Nexus X Leaks on Picasa : What! Nexus?

Yesterday only we brought you some gathered info about the next Nexus in line with it’s moniker confirmed as the LG Nexus 4 but as fast as you spell the word “Android” the droid world move a light-year ahead. Out of some fancy things sprouting up in the rumour-land, we have a hell of a shocker for you. With the LG Nexus 4 getting into some real world spot light, there’s some unusual interference from the Japanese Multimedia Giant which looks in a mood to join the Nexus march with it’s own full fledged device, the Sony Nexus X.

Sony, Nexus, WHAT?! Yes, its indeed a big surprise to see another mobile giant stepping in to deal in some bragging rights for the Nexus branding. However, if this turns out true, there’s sure gonna be some heavy-weight bullying around the nexus arena alongwith the confirmation to the rumor regarding multiple brands to manufacture Nexus devices. From the photographs leaked on the social photo sharing website, all that we can guess that it is going to add some class to the Nexus tag courtesy it’s Xperia-inspired styling viz. the curvature on the back and the sharp edged finishing which keeps it in line with the latest of Xperia Flagships out there. The display is going to host a proper 16:9 aspect ratio in contrast to the 16:10 figures present on the LG Nexus 4 upfront.

As you can see, there will be a microUSB port provided along with the Google moniker on the back while the camera is rumored to be an 8 or 13 megapixel unit corresponding to the latest developments in the imaging department by Sony. The absence of the “Sony” or “Xperia” logo and hardware keys upfront can be accredited to the pattern followed by the Nexus devices viz. the Galaxy Nexus or the LG Nexus 4 for example, while the rest of the specs still remain beneath the lens(Qualcomm S4? Supposedly yes, since it has to deal with some huge names out there).

Boasting one of the most classy design patterns out there and a proposed Nexus tag, that’s Xperia combined with Nexus, it may turn out to be a head-on competition for the LG Nexus 4.

What’s your cut? Happy with the elegance offered from LG or wanna go with the Curvature?
