Sony is all set to welcome the new year 2013 with two of its high end devices that would give a strong competition to the LG Nexus 4 and HTC Droid DNA. Sony is all set to launch the previously rumored Xperia Z codenamed ‘Yuga’ and Xperia ZL codenamed ‘Odin’ at the CES. The 5 inch 1080p smartphones from Sony are rumored to run a Quad-Core Qualcomm Processor that is also found in LG Nexus 4 and the Droid DNA along with a 2 GB RAM.
Engadget has spotted some official pictures of the two devices hosted on Sony’s official site sonymobile.com and can be seen below:
Sony Xperia Z has a design that follows Sony’s traditional one and the Xperia ZL might be thinner than the Xperia Z – also repositioning the front camera. That said, the two phones look great but there is no official information about the specifications of these two devices.
The Xperia Z ‘Yuga’ will come with LTE connectivity, however it is unclear if the Xperia ZL will come with the same specifications or not.
