Sony recently announced that it will roll out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for Xperia P, S, SL and Go this week. As promised, the update is now live for the Xperia P (LT22i) and Xperia Go (ST27).
Xperia P Jelly Bean Update
Xperia Go Jelly Bean Update
The firmware version is 6.2.A.0.400 and it comes with a 3.0.8 kernel. To check for software updates, you can use the app called “Software update” that comes with the official Sony ICS, but if you have rooted your device and removed the app, you can go to Settings>About phone and check for software updates. If you see the aforementioned firmware version, you should be good to go. If not, you probably need to flash the Jelly Bean ftf file using FlsahTool or use Sony update companion. I’m not sure if SEUS works well with unlocked bootloaders but a post is coming up soon to help you flash the firmware using FlasTool.
Did you manage to get the update yet?
