The alleged direct successor to the current Sony flagship, the Xperia Z1 a.k.a Xperia Honami is all set to be unleashed in a week’s time. For the time being, Sony has been teasing the next flagship for quite some time now. Be it the presence of the 20 Megapixel camera featuring Sony’s home bred G-Lens optics or the Snapdragon 800 onboard, the Xperia Honami or the Z1 has shown up yet again in a set of press renders showcasing the alleged color options(that go hand in hand with coloring schemes of the recent Xperia devices) as well it’s metal chassis which not only adds up further to the robust nature of the device but also adds more of an edge over the plastic built counterparts.
The metal frame is indeed a sweet surprise to add some more flavors to the recipe of a perfect flagship successor. Moreover, there’s still no words on the metal chassis being just a protective pullover for the device or it’ll also serve as an antenna as it did on the Apple device.
Apart from all that stuff, having a look at the interiors of the Xperia Z1, it’ll be packing the Snapdragon 800 chipset which is indeed a processing powerhouse alongside 2 GB of RAM which is a really major upgrade over the Snapdragon S4 Pro that the Xperia Z shipped with to take on the pole position in the 2013 flagship race. Although Samsung and HTC caught up with the pace with their guns blazing all around but the Xperia Honami might just serve as the perfect response from the Japanese and guess what? The timing might play a crucial factor yet again can make the world go an all praise for Sony’s marketing strategies.
The Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami) is all set to make it’s international debut on the 4th of September that’s less than in 2 weeks time. Till that, we all will have to hold our nerves up for Sony to get finished with the post production business for it’s upcoming flick that might turn out to be an all time blockbuster!
